FAIST has developed a standard module for air-intake systems and exhaust systems, "FAIST AFP-A" (FAIST Standard Air Filtration Pac - Version A) which enables the efficient construction of most filter arrangements, regardless of turbine manufacturer or size. This design flexibility is possible for multistage (static) filters with compact pre-filter and fine filter or self-cleaning pulse filter systems. Whether air-intake systems or exhaust systems installations are offshore, on the coast or inland, maximum standardized project solutions are obtained.
Optimization of the Air-Intake Silencer of the Air-Intake System
FAIST air-intake silencers use our special baffle design to significantly reduce pressure drop with improved noise reduction. Lower pressure drop means higher gas turbine output and higher unit profits.
Refrigeration of the Intake Air through Air-Intake System
In order to eliminate the characteristic loss of turbine performance at higher temperatures, the intake air is cooled resulting in increased flow. Thus, all standard refrigeration methods are possible with our air-intake systems.
