FAIST Broadband Compact Absorber (BCA) – Slim and Efficient
FAIST’s acoustic measuring rooms are equipped with the well established broadband compact absorbers (BCA) or asymmetrically structured absorbers (ASA). The technology of these reactive absorber systems was developed in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institut fuer Bauphysik (IBP). Because of this close relationship, the broadband compact absorber is scientifically guaranteed for all applications.
Whenever international standard ISO 3745 is required, our application will meet that performance criteria. Above that, our BCA systems, when compared to conventional wedge absorbers, have the advantages of saving space and thereby, requiring less material resulting in significant lower cost.
The broadband compact absorber (BCA) offers an even, smooth wear resistant surface, which is easy to clean. All broadband compact absorber materials are non hazardous and environmentally safe.
