Powder Coating – Protection and Environmentally Friendly Surfaces

In order to meet the strict internal quality requirements regarding powder coating, in 2001, FAIST enlarged its facility to include a powder coating plant. 
 
The environmentally safe, ultra modern powder coating plant uses only solvent-free materials with a 100% powder reclamation process. FAIST powder coats their own noise control components and accepts orders from customers who demand high quality powder coating.
 
Since December 2004, FAIST’s powder coating process has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 12944.  FAIST guarantees its powder coating for a minimum of 15 years according to Corrosivity Category C3, C4 and C5.
 
We powder coat pieces with the following maximum dimensions:

• Weight:  up to 750 kg
• Length:  up to 7 x 2.5 m

Custom Sheet Metal Fabrication and Metal Forming

Parts and metal fabrication are fabricated with our highly efficient punch and nibbling machine, all according to your specifications.
We process metal with a thickness up to 6 mm and punching surfaces up to 4000 x 1500 mm

Advantages of the Punch-Nibbling Technology in the Area of Sheet Metal Fabrication

• Different types of threading (M5-M8). With or without material reinforcement, depending on the thickness of the sheet metal
• Forming
• Stamping, Counterboring
• Butt strap, edging (max. L=55 mm / H=25 mm)
• No hard spots at cutting sites (advantage compared to laser technology
  if material is powder coated or painted afterwards.)

After receipt of your drawings in DXF-format, we will fabricate your parts on our punch-nibbling center. If you wish, our engineering department can do the detailing for you.
